2025 Summer Camps

Welcome to our listing of summer camps that are offered at Penta Career Center!

2025 STEM Camp

Please see below for the camps and their brief descriptions.  You can click on the links in each section to be taken to that camps page, which will provide more information and the registration form to sign-up.  Thank you for your interest and we hope to see you there!

  •  STEM Camp 2025 - Grades 3-5
    • This camp is for students who were in 3rd-5th grade during the 2024-25 school year.

    • STEM Camp will be offered during the week of June 2-6 and, due to high demand, a repeated camp during the week of June 9-13.  Both weeks run from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm.

    • STEM Camp is a 5-day camp where students will explore a different program each day and complete exciting hands-on activities designed to increase their understanding of how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math skills are used in a wide variety of career fields.
      • Construction – Use real tools to build a bird house and learn basic engineering skills!
      • Culinary – Mix, measure, and create tasty treats while learning the science behind cooking!
      • Environment – Explore nature, conduct experiments, and discover how to protect our planet!
      • Astronomy – Blast off into space science with fun activities about stars, planets, and the universe!
      • Forensics – Become a detective! Solve mysteries using fingerprinting, secret codes, and real science!

    • To sign up for STEM Camp 2025, for grades 3-5, please select the week you are interested in below (Please only sign up for one week, as the weeks are identical due to high demand):
  •  STEM Camp 2025 - Grades 6-9
    • This camp is for students who were in 6th-9th grade during the 2024-25 school year.

    • STEM Camp is a 5-day camp, during the week of June 2-6, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, where students will explore a different program each day and complete exciting hands-on activities designed to increase their understanding of how Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math skills are used in a wide variety of career fields.
      • Welding – Get hands-on with metalwork as you learn the basics of welding and create your own project!
      • Construction – Build and design using real tools to complete an exciting take-home project!
      • Engineering – Design and build a tabletop pinball machine while learning the science behind motion and forces!
      • Culinary – Cook up delicious recipes while discovering the science and creativity behind food!
      • Health Science – Explore the world of emergency medicine with hands-on activities like "Stop the Bleed" training!

  • STEM Advanced Camp 2025 - Grades 6-9
    • This camp is for students who were in 6th-9th grade during the 2024-25 school year.

    • STEM Advanced Camp, during the week of June 9-13, from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm, is where students can get an opportunity to take a deeper dive into their choice of Construction, Culinary, Welding, Life Science, and Health Science labs.  Since these will be more involved, they will be offered as two different sessions; one 3-day (Monday-Wednesday) and one 2-day (Thursday-Friday) offering.

    • Students may sign up for only one camp session or a combination of two camp sessions.  Students may also sign up for both sessions in the same lab.

    • To sign up for the Advanced STEM Camps 2025, for grades 6-9, please select the sessions you are interested in below:

2025 Manufacturing Camp

  • Making It in the 419! Manufacturing Camp 2025
    • Manufacturing Camp is for students entering grades 7-9 for the 2025-2026 academic year, that are residents of Wood County or any Penta member school district - Anthony Wayne, Benton-Carroll-Salem, Bowling Green, Eastwood, Elmwood, Genoa, Lake, Maumee, North Baltimore, Northwood, Otsego, Perrysburg, Rossford, Springfield, Swanton, and Woodmore. Participants will have the opportunity to visit local manufacturing facilities and engage in STEM and manufacturing activities through various hands-on lab experiences. Over the course of three days, students will learn how to design, fabricate, and complete a part. The camp will take place from June 10, 2025, to June 12, 2025.
