ATTENTION ELMWOOD SENIORS: Elmwood is having a graduation speaker contest.  The ceremony will have one opening speech and one main speech.  If you would like to be considered for either one of these speeches, please e-mail Mrs. Traxler at [email protected] by today at midnight.  In your e-mail, please indicate which speech you would like to be considered for.  At that time she will e-mail you back with further information and instructions on how your speech will be submitted.  More information can also be found on the Senior Student Council, Class of 2024 Google Classroom.

ATTENTION LAKE STUDENTS:  Saturday, May 4 will be the “Black and Gold Masquerade Prom” from7:00 PM to 10:30 PM at the St. Michael’s Center on Navarre Avenue in Oregon.  Doors will be open at 6:30 PM.  Prom tickets will be sold here at Penta today.  You will be called down over the PA system to come down to the Commons to purchase your tickets.  Tickets will be $55.00 each.  If you are taking a non-Lake guest to the dance, please make sure you have a guest form completed prior to buying your tickets.

LAKE STUDENTS: Those that are interested in purchasing tickets for the Lake After Prom should make a note that Lake will be here Thursdays and Fridays during all lunches for the entire month of April to sell those After Prom tickets.  Tickets are $25.00. They will be $30.00 at the door.  You must stop in to the Student Services Office and get the packet of forms for you and your guest to sign before you purchase your After Prom ticket.  Please see Mr. Stoots with any questions.

MAUMEE STUDENTS:  Join us for the fun! Maumee High School Games Club will be meeting next Wednesday, April 24 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM in Room 220 at Maumee High School.  All are welcome!

ATTENTION JUNIORS:  Please make sure to sign up with Ms. Kronk in the Student Services Office – Room 1103 to learn about the awesome opportunities Owens has to offer as ell as learn the next steps to continuing your education after high school.  The last day they will be here for the year will be Friday, May 3.

ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS:  The Owens Tech Prep Scholarship is still  available on the Penta Career Center Online Scholarship Website or in the Student Services Office with Ms. Kronk.  To qualify, seniors must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 by the end of the seventh semester of high school, applied to attend Owens Community College next year in a program related to your Tech Prep program here at Penta, and complete the FAFSA form.  An official high school transcript is also required.  The deadline for documentation is May 10, 2024 or the last day of school for seniors. Please make sure you have ALL the documents you need.  Please see Ms. Kronk if you need a paper copy or locate it on the Penta Career Center Online Scholarship Website.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS:  Local 33 Sheet Metal Workers Union in Rossford, Ohio is hosting a Heavy Metal Summer Camp on Tuesday, June 18 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM .  Camp will be 3 days a week for 2 weeks concluding on Friday, June 28 with a Heavy Metal Summer Camp Graduation.  Lunch will be provided daily. ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: Representatives from the US Navy will be here during all lunches tomorrow.  If you are interested in this service branch please make sure to see them!

ATTENTION STUDENTS:  Are you interested in summer employment/   Penta is looking for dedicated students who are interested in working on campus for the summer.  To be eligible, you must be a Penta student in the fall of 2024.  Some duties you could be performing are mowing, trimming, and mulching of landscape, painting labs and classrooms or general cleaning of labs, classrooms, and school vehicles.  Additional details will be supplied during the interview process. Tentatively, work will begin on Monday, June 3 and continue through mid-August.  Applications can be picked up with Ms. Kronk in the Student Services Office – Room 1103 on the red wall.  Completed applications must be turned in to Ms. Kronk in the Student Services Office – Room 1103 Deadline for all applications is Tuesday, April 30 at 3:00 PM.
