BOWLING GREEN STUDENTS: The Bowling Green High School Prom will only be for SENIORS this year.   It is being held on Saturday, April 24.   Please look for a Penta e-mail titled “Prom Information” with the instructions as how to order your tickets.   Make sure to do this ASAP because tickets are on a first come, first serve basis.  Guest forms are on the red wall in the Student Services Office.
EASTWOOD JUNIORS AND SENIORS:  Please make sure to check your e-mail on what Prom will look like for this year.  Eastwood will be selling Prom tickets this week only before school or during AA at Eastwood.  Please make sure to see Mrs. Smoyer in Room 30 or Mrs. Cutway in Room 33.  Tickets are $15.00 per person.
ATTENTION EASTWOOD JUNIORS AND SENIORS:  Please make sure to read this!  After-Prom has not hit the occupancy limit for Perry Field House so you may now invite your Eastwood date if they are a sophomore or freshman.  Please make sure to read the e-mail sent by Mrs. McCoy for more after-prom details and how to buy a ticket. Don’t delay!
ATTENTION ELMWOOD SENIORS: Class of 2021 – Elmwood is having a Graduation Speaker’s Contest.  The ceremony will have one opening speech and one main speech.  If you would like to be considered for either one of these speeches, please e-mail Mrs. Traxler at [email protected] by next Wednesday, April 21 at 23:00 PM.  In the e-mail please make sure to indicate which speech you would like to be considered for.  At that time, she will e-mail you back with further information and instructions on how your speech will be submitted.  More information about this contest can be found in your Google Classroom page.
ELMWOOD JUNIORS: Class of 2022 - please make sure to your Google Classroom and vote for next year’s class officers.  You can vote till this Monday, April 19 at 3:00 PM.
ELMWOOD STUDENTS: The Elmwood High School Prom will be held this year on Saturday, May 8 and the theme is “Under the Stars”.  Colors will be Black and White and we may even have the event outside!  All Elmwood Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend.  There will be NO AFTER PROM held this year.  More information will be released as state guidelines are released.   Please see the flyer in the Elmwood bulletin board for more information.  All plans are subject to change.   Any questions?  Please e-mail at [email protected].  Please make sure to see the Elmwood bulletin board or an e-mail with Prom Information in your Penta account.  Ticket sales are online so it is important that you read all of the information.
ATTENTION NORTHWOOD STUDENTS: Anyone interested in playing boys’ soccer at Northwood High School next year should contact Mr. James via e-mail by today.   His e-mail is [email protected]
OTSEGO SENIORS: Caps and gowns will be delivered here to Penta today.  If you still need to order graduation materials, please visit ASAP!  An announcement will be made at 2:40 PM tomorrow to have you come down and pick up your orders.
SPRINGFIELD STUDENTS: The Springfield High School Prom will be held this year on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Springfield High School Football Field.   “A Night Under the Big Top” is this year’s theme and it is for Springfield Juniors and Seniors ONLY.   This will be a formal dress event and students must arrive at 7:00 PM, after which time the doors will be locked.   There will be no admittance after the 7:00 PM time.  Tickets will be sold here at Penta from Mrs. Haas starting next Tuesday, April 20 through next Friday, April 23 and cost $40.00 each.  You must complete a release form in order to purchase your ticket.   Doors open at 6:00 PM and prom will take place until 10:00 PM.  Release forms can be found on the red wall in the Student Services Office.
SPRINGFIELD JUNIORS AND SENIORS: We are having a Prom/After Prom Extravaganza!   This is one event you DO NOT want to miss!  The event is a joint event where Prom and After-Prom will be happening at the same time from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Saturday, May 1.  Only Springfield High School Seniors and Juniors will be able to attend this event!  Guests from other schools ARE NOT PERMITTED to attend.  Tickets go on sale next week with Mrs. Haas through Friday, April 23.   Release forms are available in the main office at Springfield High School and on the red wall here at Penta.   You must turn in the release form when you purchase your tickets!
SPRINGFIELD JUNIORS AND SENIORS:  Please make sure to check your Penta Gmail for information on Prom/After-Prom and Graduation information!
  WOODMORE STUDENTS:  After-Prom tickets are on sale through Mrs. Geldien at Woodmore High School.   You can choose to go to After-Prom even if you are choosing not to attend Prom.  Tickets are $35.00 each.
  PENTA GRADUATING SENIORS: Just a reminder, the Penta Career Center Scholarship Common Application is still available for any Penta graduating senior interested in getting monies to help with financial aid for college or monies to use towards tools/supplies for your career choice.   Copies can be found on the Penta Career Center Scholarship Online List OR in the Student Services Office in the grey scholarship box.   The date is coming quickly so please make sure to get your copy soon!  Read over all of the qualification for one or more of the nine scholarships that are offered and get all supporting materials in as soon as possible.  The expiration date is next Tuesday, April 20 by 3:00 PM.   Please make sure to see your counselor or Ms. Kronk with any questions.
  PENTA SENIORS: The Owens Tech Prep Scholarship is available on the Penta Career Center Scholarship site, in the Student Services Office and also from Owens at   To qualify, seniors must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 by the end of their seventh semester in high school, applied to attend Owens next year in a program related to your Tech Prep program here at Penta, and complete the FAFSA form.  An official high school transcript is also required.  Deadline for all documentation is by the end of spring semester of the academic year immediately following your high school graduation.   If you need a paper copy, please see Ms. Kronk in the Student Services Office or locate it online at, click on Current Students/Parents, click on Scholarships and it is there.
  JUNIORS AND SENIORS:  Owens Representative Brendan Sheehan will be available to meet virtually with students this year that are interested in learning more about attending Owens Community College.  Appointments will be available from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and will take place in the Student Services Office.  Please make sure to check your Penta e-mail for an invitation to sign up via a Google form.   Please email or see Ms. Moeller or Ms. Kronk with any questions. The next scheduled event will be Thursday, April 22. 
 ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS:  Are you interested in summer employment?  Penta is looking for dedicated students who are   interested in working on campus this summer.  Some of the duties include: mowing, trimming and mulching, painting classrooms and labs, and general cleaning of labs, classrooms, and vehicles.   Additional details will be supplied during the interview process.  Work will tentatively begin on Tuesday, June 1 and continue through mid-August.   Applications can be picked up in the Student Services Office – Room 1103.  All applications must be turned into Mrs. Shenefield no later than Friday, April 30 at 3:00 PM
