Manufacturing Camp

Wood County Manufacturing Camp 2024

Welcome to the 2024 Wood County S.T.E.M. Manufacturing Camp information page. Manufacturing Camp is a place where students, age 11-14 that are residents of Wood County or any PENTA member school district - (Anthony Wayne, Benton-Carroll-Salem, Bowling Green, Eastwood, Elmwood, Genoa, Lake, Maumee, North Baltimore, Northwood, Otsego, Perrysburg, Rossford, Springfield, Swanton, and Woodmore.), will take daily field trips to local manufacturing plants, learn about STEM and Manufacturing through hands-on activities using robotics, 3D printers, and various building kits, as well as participate in team building exercises with other campers. This camp will run from July 15-19, 2024.
 
The Manufacturing Camp will be held at Owens Community College and Penta Career Center and will cost $60 per student (the cost includes snack, lunch, transportation to and from sites, camp materials, and a t-shirt). The camp runs Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, and Friday from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Dates, times, and locations of drop off and pick up will be emailed to you at a later date.
