Welcome to the 2025 Making It In the 419! Manufacturing Camp information page! Manufacturing Camp is for students entering grades 7-9 for the 2025-2026 academic year, that are residents of Wood County or any Penta member school district - Anthony Wayne, Benton-Carroll-Salem, Bowling Green, Eastwood, Elmwood, Genoa, Lake, Maumee, North Baltimore, Northwood, Otsego, Perrysburg, Rossford, Springfield, Swanton, and Woodmore. Participants will have the opportunity to visit local manufacturing facilities and engage in STEM and manufacturing activities through various hands-on lab experiences. Over the course of three days, students will learn how to design, fabricate, and complete a part. The camp will take place from June 10, 2025, to June 12, 2025.
The Making It In the 419 Manufacturing Camp will be hosted at Penta Career Center, with a registration fee of $50 per student. This fee covers a snack, lunch, transportation to and from the sites, camp materials, and a t-shirt. Financial aid options are available to those who qualify. Camp hours are from Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Please ensure that students wear long pants and closed-toe shoes each day, as they will be participating in hands-on activities within various lab environments.
