Penta K - Color the Trail 5K Run/Walk is September 30

      Students and staff at Penta Career Center will host the Penta K Color the Trail 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, September 30 from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the school’s campus, 9301 Buck Road in Perrysburg Township. The event benefits the Wood County Fraternal Order of Police Cops & Kids program and the Penta Pantry. The race begins at 10:00 a.m. and participants will get covered in color powder during the race. Cost for adults is $30 and $15 for youth (14 and under). More +
New Formula Student USA Racing Project

New Formula Student USA Racing Project

     The Automotive Technology programs at Penta Career Center will soon be able to build and race Formula First race vehicles thanks to a generous donation from Mark Schoenlein, current member of the Penta Board of Education, and a matching gift from his employer, O-I and The O-I Charities Foundation. During the June 28 Penta Board of Education meeting, Schoenlein and his wife, Meg, presented a check for $3,000 and O-I matched the Schoenleins’ gift with a $6,000 check. More +

Sutton and Rickard Earn Top Awards at HOSA

Congratulations to Hannah Sutton (Eastwood) and Chevelle Rickard (Elmwood), both students in the Medical Technologies program at Penta, who earned top awards at the 2017 HOSA International Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. Sutton placed third in the nation and received a bronze medal in the Interviewing Skills contest. Rickard was top 10 for the Life Support Skills contest. More +

Congratulations to Class of 2017 students Danielle Pearson (Anthony Wayne) and Analicia Santos (Northwood), from our Cosmetology program, who earned a bronze medal (3rd in the United States) for the Nail Care contest at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. Cops & Kids Fund Raiser Breakfast

Penta Career Center is hosting breakfast in the Culinary Connection restaurant from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. to raise funds for the Wood County FOP's Cops & Kids program.  Breakfast will be prepared by Culinary Arts students.  Cost is a donation of your choice.
