National Technical Honor Society

 
The National Technical Honor Society currently serves approximately 100,000 active members and nearly a million members since its inception in 1984.  Awarding over $2 million in scholarships to date, NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce. NTHS provides opportunities to meet other students, engage in community service, enhance school spirit and rise to leadership.

SkillsUSA

Students enrolled in career pathways such as industrial and engineering systems, health services, human services, and arts & communications can join SkillsUSA. The student organization provides quality education experiences for students in areas such as leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development. It emphasizes total quality at work, high ethical standards, superior work skills, life-long education and pride in the dignity of work

Family, Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA)

Students enrolled in health and human services career pathway programs can become involved in FCCLA, a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education.

Business Professionals of America (BPA)

Students enrolled in business & management career pathways can join BPA.  Members of BPA compete in demonstrations of business technology skills, develop professional and leadership skills, network with one another and professionals across the nation, and participate in community service projects.

FFA

Students enrolled in agricultural and environmental career pathway programs can join FFA. This national organization is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of young people by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.

DECA

DECA is an organization for students enrolled in marketing education programs. DECA is a co-curricular component of marketing that provides students activities related to marketing education. Students enrolled in marketing education and business & management career pathways will have opportunities to develop skills in the areas of vocational understanding, leadership development, civic consciousness, and social intelligence.

HOSA

HOSA is a career-technical student organization.  Its mission is to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community, through education, collaboration, and experience.  HOSA actively promotes career opportunities in the health industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
