Individual Professional Development Plan (IPDP):
A current IPDP on Powerschool is required of all instructional staff and administrators. CEUs cannot be issued by the LPDC unless a current IPDP is in place. External Credit Requests used for licensure must be relevant to an approved IPDP on file with LPDC. For instructions on creating your plan, please use these Video Tutorials.

Submit Continuing Education Unit (CEU) Requests:
All CEU requests will be submitted through Powerschool. Instructions for submitting CEU and other activity requests (External Credit Requests) can be found in this Video Tutorial.

Penta On-Campus Professional Development:
To earn CEUs for Penta On-Campus Professional Development, staff must sign up in advance through the Powerschool system, then staff must physically sign in at the meeting on the date of occurrence. Please see the following Video Tutorial for instructions.

License Renewal:
First, receive approval for 18 CEUs in PowerSchool.
Professional Development Required for License Renewal:
To renew a five year license: 6 college semester hours or 18 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), or a combination of both are required.
Quick Conversions:
1) 1 college semester hour = 3 CEUs
2) 10 clock hours of professional development = 1 CEU
