Plus, Penta now offers Firefighter certification programs including: Volunteer Firefighter, Firefighter 1 and Firefighter 2. Short-term programs are designed to prepare adults for in-demand careers in programs such as: Auto Maintenance & Light Repair; Construction Technologies; Intro to HVAC; Welding; CNC Programming/Precision Machining; Dental Assisting; and Phlebotomy. Penta also offers courses with flexible starting dates including Forklift Training and CDL with Trainco.
For companies and businesses, Penta Adult Education offers customized workforce development training at a reasonable cost at your location or in Penta’s classrooms and labs at three convenient locations (Perrysburg, Bowling Green and Holland-Springfield).
Penta Adult Education also offers affordable online courses in areas such as health & fitness, computer applications, accounting & finance, and personal development. Through Penta’s partnership with ed2go, the online courses are led by expert instructors or are self- guided. Courses start at $99 - per six-week course.
Adults who want to improve their reading, writing, and math skills or study for the High School Equivalency exam can register for Penta’s Aspire Career Pathways Readiness program, offered at many convenient locations in Lucas and Wood counties.
