CMAs) perform clinical and administrative work in medical offices, from helping with minor surgery to maintaining clinical equipment. This course prepares you for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national exam. State-tested nurse's aides (
STNAs) provide basic care for patients, including cleaning and bathing; transferring patients between beds and chairs; measuring vital sisgns like blood pressure and temperature; and serving meals and helping patients eat. As America's population keeps aging, long-term and in-home care maintains a demand for nursing assistants.
