Registration open for spring medical courses

Clinical medical assistants (CMAs) perform clinical and administrative work in medical offices, from helping with minor surgery to maintaining clinical equipment. This course prepares you for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national exam. In the Toledo area, CMAs earn about $13 per hour, and jobs are expected to grow 17% by 2022, much faster than the national average.*

State-tested nurse's aides (STNAs) provide basic care for patients, including cleaning and bathing; transferring patients between beds and chairs; measuring vital sisgns like blood pressure and temperature; and serving meals and helping patients eat. As America's population keeps aging, long-term and in-home care maintains a demand for nursing assistants. In the Toledo area, STNAs earn about $11 per hour, and jobs are expected to grow 11% by 2022, faster than the national average.*
