Area Adults to be Honored for Earning their GED
     Penta Career Center’s Adult Education Division, will hold its annual Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Susor Auditorium at Penta Career Center, 9301 Buck Road in Perrysburg Township. Penta has 120 successful GED completers and 51 adults are expected to be recognized at the event. The ceremony is open to the public. 
Congratulations, Adult Education graduates

On Thursday, June 9, Penta Career Center awarded industry-recognized credentials to 114 Adult Education students, its largest graduating class in several years. These graduates’ skills and training have prepared them for Ohio’s in-demand jobs, from welding, construction and other skilled trades to pharmacy technicians, certified clinical medical assistants and state-tested nurses’ aides.

In less than a year, you could start your new career in one of Ohio’s in-demand jobs: auto technology, auto body, welding, HVAC or construction. Federal student aid (Pell funding) covers up to 80 percent of your tuition, and we’ll help you find grants and scholarships to cover the rest.

Whether you're a prospective employee or an employer looking for trained staff, Penta Adult Ed offers four-hour forklift training (on-site at Penta's labs or at an employer's location). This is a valuable skill that makes prospective employees more marketable, and current employees safer and more productive.  
Ohio Board of Education recognizes Penta Adult Ed students
At the Ohio Board of Education's April 18 meeting in Columbus, Penta Adult Ed students were recognized for their successes through the Adult Diploma Program.

On Monday, March 14, a new auto technician class started at Cherry Street Mission's Life Revitalization Center (formerly Macomber High School).
