Update on Class of 2020 Graduation Materials  

- All Penta seniors who placed orders with an outside vendor for graduation materials like caps and gowns, need to check with their member school for pick-up/delivery instructions.  Penta has asked the companies to deliver these materials to each of the member schools. Some member schools have provided the following information:

-Lake Seniors: Jostens will be having a "drive-thru" pick up for graduation materials at the Lake HS entrance on Thurs., April 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. They will place the items in your backseat or trunk for you to avoid contact. Please be sure your balance is paid.

-Genoa Seniors:  Jostens is having a cap & gown pick up on Thurs., April 16 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Genoa HS.  Jostens will be set up curbside at the front entrance and will ask for your name and then can just place the items in your backseat or trunk so there is no unnecessary contact. 

-Oak Harbor Seniors:  Jostens will have a "drive-thru" pick up for graduation items on Tues., April 14 from 10:00 a.m. - 12 noon.  All orders MUST be paid in full in order to pick up.  Check the Oak Harbor Twitter page for details on the location.

- Eastwood Seniors:  Jostens will have a "drive-thru" pick up of graduation materials on Thurs., April 23 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the front entrance of Eastwood High School.  All balances must be paid in full in order to pick up. 

- Northwood Seniors:  If you ordered graduation materials and have paid your balance in full, you can pick up your items on Wed. April 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Northwood main office. 

-Perrysburg Seniors:  If you ordered graduation materials and have paid your balance in full, you can pick up your items on Mon. April 20 from 9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the front entrance of Perrysburg High School. 

-Otsego Seniors:  If you HAVE NOT picked up your cap and gown orders,  we will have them available for pick up on Thursday, May 7th from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Please do NOT get out of your cars.  Someone will stop at your car to assist you.  Pull around to the back of the Otsego school building near the commons doors. If you have NOT paid in full we cannot give you your orders. Please go to Jostens online and pay your order in full.

-Woodmore Seniors:  If you ordered graduation materials and have paid your balance in full, there will be a "Drive-Thru" pick up of your items on Thurs., April 23 from 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. by the main entrance of Woodmore High School. 

-Bowling Green Seniors:  If you ordered graduation materials and have paid your balance in full, Jostens will be near the "Bobcat" at the high school to distribute your items curbside on Wed., April 29 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. 

-Springfield Seniors:  On Monday, May 4, Jostens will hold a 'drive-thru" pick up of your graduation materials.  You must stay in your car and enter the bus loop in front of the junior high school.  If your last name begins with A-M pick up will be from Noon to 1:00 p.m.  If your last name begins with N-Z pick up will take place from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.  If you are unable to attend the May 4 pick up, there will be another drive-thru pick up at the same location on Monday, May 11 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.  All balances MUST be paid in full prior to May 4 in order to pick up your materials. 

-Anthony Wayne Seniors:  On Tuesday, May 5 from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. there will be a cap and gown drive thu pick up in the North athletic parking lot next to the high school.  You must remain in your car.  If you are unable to come on this day and time, please email: [email protected]



 

April 6, 2020

Just a reminder to students that Penta's Spring Break begins on Thursday, April 9.   Virtual school will resume on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.   

 

April 3, 2020

For all newly accepted students who were invited to attend Penta's Signing Day on either April 28 or April 30, this event has been postponed.  We will contact you once we return to school with more details. 

 

March 30, 2020

Per Governor DeWine's directive today, March 30, Penta Career Center will be closed to all campus activities though May 1. We will continue to engage students in remote learning during this time. Also, just a reminder that Penta’s Spring Break is April 9 – April 13 so our on-campus instructors will not be engaging in remote learning activities with you during this time. If you are experiencing any problems, let us know so we can provide assistance. Please continue to check the Penta web site (pentacareercenter.org) for any additional updates. Stay safe and healthy.

We will have more details on March 17 about the remote learning plan.  Our staff worked on Friday and today to create engaging options for students that can be completed online, picked up at Penta, mailed out, or will be delivered.  

 

March 14, 2020 

Penta Career Center wants to remind students and parents that school is NOT in session on Monday, March 16.  School is scheduled to resume on Monday, April 6, 2020.  Students that were absent from school on March 13, will be contacted about the educational expectations for the next three weeks. All students will have further communication about the ongoing educational expectations during this three-week break.  Currently, Penta’s Spring Break is still scheduled to take place Thursday, April 9 – Monday, April 13.  We will continue to provide updates as necessary.  If any student needs assistance during the next three weeks, please contact the school during regular building hours (Mon-Fri from 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) at 419-666-1120.

All Penta campus events and activities that were scheduled to take place between March 16 and the end of the school year have been postponed or cancelled.  We will keep you informed if events will be rescheduled.
