Penta Adult Education is now fully accredited through the Council on Occupational Education (COE), joining a network of post-secondary education institutions that serve more than 300,000 student nationwide.
To be accredited, Penta Adult Ed underwent a thorough review to ensure that it has and will continue to meet ever-rising standards, which include fiscal stability, recruitment, financial aid, records management, program completion and more. COE requires educational institutions to successfully complete this rigorous accreditation process a minimum of every two years.
"We're proud to be accredited by COE, and even happier that our accreditation stands for a full six years, which is the maximum duration that COE offers," Rhonda Hogrefe, supervisor of Adult Education, said. "This is a reflection of the tremendous difference we're making in northwest Ohio, equipping the region's employees with the training they need to get good jobs that are in high demand."
