OhioMeansJobs-Wood County at Penta
In partnership with the Wood County Board of Commissioners and Penta Career Center, OhioMeansJobs-Wood County, now offers services in two locations. A satellite office, located at Penta Career Center’s Adult & Continuing Education Office, 9301 Buck Road in Perrysburg Township, has been added to the services currently available at the Bowling Green location.
“We are excited to be working together with Penta to be able to reach more of our northern county residents,” says Mary DeWitt, workforce administrator of OhioMeansJobs-Wood County.
At both locations, OhioMeansJobs-Wood County staff are available to assist individuals with a variety of services geared toward re-entering the workforce. Individuals can meet with staff members for one-on-one professional resume assistance as well as gain valuable tips on how to conduct a powerful job search. Training opportunities for in-demand, short term training occupations are also available through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) to help individuals return to work quickly.
