GED Recipients to be Honored June 1st
      Penta Career Center’s Adult Education Division, will hold its annual Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the Susor Auditorium at Penta Career Center, 9301 Buck Road in Perrysburg Township. Penta has 90 successful GED completers and 35 adults are expected to be recognized at the event. The ceremony will also include remarks from Mayor Ray Martin of West Jefferson, Ohio who is a GED recipient from several years ago. The ceremony is open to the public.
    The GED is the Ohio high school equivalence diploma for adults who did not finish high school. Those who passed the State of Ohio GED exam, and have registered to attend the ceremony at Penta, will graduate in caps and gowns and will be honored with a certificate of achievement.
