Congratulations Ohio SkillsUSA Medalists and New State President!Congratulations to eight Penta students who earned either a gold, silver or bronze medal at the Ohio SkillsUSA Championships on April 12 in Columbus.  Gold medalists qualify the SkillsUSA Championships in Louisville, KY in June.  Rhiannon Reaper (a junior from Oak Harbor), who is in Penta’s Information Technologies Academy, was elected president of Ohio SkillsUSA!

State contest winners included:
Gold (1st Place in Ohio) - Greyson Perry (Lake) from Interactive Media for the Advertising Design contest and Danielle Pearson (Anthony Wayne) & Analicia Santos (Northwood) both from Cosmetology and both for the Nail Care contest.

Silver (2nd Place in Ohio) - Ryan Isbell (Springfield) from Computer-Aided Design for the Architectural Drafting contest; Hannah Likes (Lake) from Cosmetology for the Cosmetology contest; and  Ryan Pierce (Perrysburg) from Culinary Arts for the Culinary Arts contest.

Bronze (3rd Place in Ohio) - Josh Sobczak (Northwood) from Culinary Arts for the Commercial Baking contest and Jacquelyn Sweet (Maumee) from Culinary Arts for the Restaurant Service contest.
