Become a medical assistant, performing patient clinical skills in medical offices! Through 140 lecture/lab hours, followed by 160 hours of clinical externship, you'll learn how to administer medications, help with minor surgery, perform an electrocardiogram, obtain lab specimens for testing, educate patients and maintain clinical equipment. The focus is preparing you for the National Healthcare Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national exam.
