Giving Back This Holiday Season

The Penta Career Center Student Leadership Team helped organize a collection for "Operation Breadbasket" for Perrysburg Township.  Students collected over 2,000 non-perishable food items and about 1,000 toys and clothes.  Donations were accepted from fellow students as well as Penta staff members.  

The Penta Student Leadership Team created a challenge among all the classes for the food drive portion of the project.  Each class was challenged to bring in the most canned goods.  The winning class was treated to a pizza party.  The winning class was Culinary Arts (juniors, afternoon lab) - Chef Jim Rhegness, instructor.  This class collected 874 food items and earned a pizza party.
