50th Senior Class at Penta Career Center to be recognized May 19-21

   The 50th Senior Class at Penta Career Center will be honored during special Senior Recognition Ceremonies on Tuesday, May 19; Wednesday, May 20; and Thursday, May 21, 2015. (See below for ceremony details.). The high school seniors, who will be completing career-technical programs at Penta, are from sixteen area school districts (Anthony Wayne, Benton-Carroll-Salem, Bowling Green, Eastwood, Elmwood, Genoa, Lake, Maumee, North Baltimore, Northwood, Otsego, Perrysburg, Rossford, Springfield, Swanton and Woodmore). All ceremonies will take place in the Susor Auditorium at Penta Career Center, 9301 Buck Road in Perrysburg Township.

   Each student will receive a Career Passport which contains their personalized Certificate of Completion. In addition, seniors will be recognized for career-technical student organization accomplishments and other school-related achievements. One of the highlights of each ceremony is the announcement of the recipients of the Outstanding Student Award for each career-technical program.

   The Penta senior recognition events, in which more than 700 students will participate over the course of three days, will take place on the following dates and times:
Tuesday, May 19 at 1:15 p.m.
Marketing Education Programs
(Includes the Marketing programs from the following schools: Anthony Wayne, Bowling Green, Maumee, Oak Harbor, Penta, Perrysburg, Rossford, and Springfield.)

Tuesday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m.
Arts & Communication/Business & Management/Health Services Programs
(Includes the following programs: Business/Marketing Concepts; Computer Hardware/Networking; Dental Assistant; Digital Video Production; Exercise Science/Sports Health Care; Geographic Information Systems; Interactive Media; Medical & Legal Office Management; and Medical Technologies.)

Construction & Manufacturing Programs
(Includes the following programs: Advanced Manufacturing Technologies; Computer-Aided
Design; Construction Carpentry; Construction Concepts; Construction Electricity; Construction
Masonry; Construction Remodeling; Construction Trades; Heating & Air Conditioning
Technology; and Welding.)

Wednesday, May 20 at 1:15 p.m.
Human Services & Teaching Professions Programs
(Includes the following programs: Cosmetology; Culinary Arts; Early Childhood Education; Hair Design; Public Safety/Criminal Justice; Public Safety/EMT-Fire Science; and Teaching Professions.)

Wednesday, May 20 at 6:00 p.m.
Agriculture & Transportation Programs
(Includes the following programs: Alternative Energy Technology; Automotive Collision Repair; Automotive Technology; Floral Design/Greenhouse Production; Gas & Diesel Engine Systems; Landscape & Turfgrass Management; and Small Animal Care.)
