2015 STEM Summer Camp

     Students currently enrolled in grades 7 through 9, who reside within one of the 16 school districts served by Penta Career Center, are invited to register for the 2015 STEM Summer Camp. The camp takes place June 15 – 19, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Penta Career Center campus, 9301 Buck Road. Cost for the camp is $25. Students interested in exploring careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) are encouraged to register.
     Students will participate in a variety of hands-on activities in the areas of: Computer Hardware/Networking; Construction Carpentry; Culinary Arts; Public Safety/Criminal Justice; and Manufacturing Technology. Students will experience a different program area each day. All activities are designed to increase students’ understanding of how Science, Te chnology, Engineering and Math skills are used in a variety of career fields.
    To register for the camp, students can either download an application from the Penta web site by clicking HERE; contact Penta Career Center at 419-666-1120, Ext. 3118; or obtain an application from their school counselor.
     STEM Camp is offered to students who reside in any of Penta’s member school districts which include: Anthony Wayne, Bowling Green, Eastwood, Elmwood, Genoa, Lake, Maumee, Northwood, North Baltimore, Oak Harbor, Otsego, Perrysburg, Rossford, Springfield, Swanton and Woodmore.
