Students Earn Top Awards at 2014 DECA International Career Development Conference!

In May, 57 Marketing Education students competed at the 2014 DECA International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Several Penta Career Center satellite students won top awards at the International competition. Congratulations to the Penta-Maumee DECA team of Mitchell Kontak, Hannah Harris and Zach Graven who earned First Place in the Community Service Project for their "Fighting for Fuleky" project; Penta-Oak Harbor DECA team of Jordyn Dunn, Brenna Franck and Brandon Schimming who earned Third Place for the Financial Literacy Promotion Project; and Penta-Bowling Green team of Cam Carsey, David Fouts and Connor Rose who earned Top 15 for the Sports & Entertainment Promotion Plan contest. As a result of their first place award, the Penta-Maumee team earned a trip to Washington D.C.
