Pearson and Santos Place 3rd at SkillsUSA Nationals

    Congratulations to Class of 2017 students Danielle Pearson (Anthony Wayne) and Analicia Santos (Northwood), from our Cosmetology program, who earned a bronze medal (3rd in the United States) for the Nail Care contest at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.  The students qualified for the competition by earning first place in the Ohio SkillsUSA Championships this past April. 
   Also recognized at the National SkillsUSA conference were students who earned the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for their community service hours. The following students were recognized for volunteering between 100 to 250 hours or more: Brad Rhegness (Swanton), Douglas Bergman (Genoa), Zach Bernhard (Anthony Wayne), Hannah Fairchild (Lake), Joseph Sauber (Perrysburg), Nicholas Thompson (Eastwood), Alexi Kruse (Eastwood), Chance Dusseau (Oak Harbor), Ian Eppink (Rossford), and Mark Lawson (Oak Harbor).
