TRANSPORTATION

Automotive Technology Program, 735 hours 

This Job Training program is designed to provide a student with the necessary entry-level skills
needed to be employed in the automotive industry, and/or to review for the ASE (Automotive
Service Excellence) Brakes and HVAC certification tests.

The course of studies includes:
 

  • Shop Safety
  • Suspension and Steering
  • Heating and Air Conditioning
  • Employability Skills
  • ASE Refrigeration / Refrigerant Recovery
    and Recycling Exam
  • Electrical / Electronic Systems
  • Brakes
  • ASE Brakes Certification Test
  • CPR / First Aid / AED
  • Introduction to Computers

All students will receive a Basic Auto Technology tool kit for use during the course.  The Basic Auto Technology tool kit will become the student’s property upon the successful completion of the course.
