TRANSPORTATION

 Auto Body Collision Repairs Program, 600 hours

This Job Training program is designed to prepare a student for an entry-level position as an auto body and collision repair technician, and serve as a review session. Upon successful completion of the program, the student will take the ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Painting and Refinishing certification test in the Spring 2010.  This program includes all of the following topics:
Space is limited, early registration advised. 

  • Introduction to Auto Body Collision Repairs
  • Welding for Auto Body
  • Panel Repair and Exterior/Interior Trim          
  • Paint and Refinishing
  • Frame and Unibody Construction & Repairs
  • ASE Refrigeration / Refrigerant Recovery
    and Recycling Exam
  • ASE Painting and Refinishing Certification Test
  • CPR / First Aid / AED
  • Introduction to Computers
  • Job Seeking Skills

All students will receive a Basic Auto Body Repair tool kit for use during the course.  The Basic Auto Body Repair tool kit will become the student’s property upon the successful completion of the course.
