AUTOMOTIVE AIR CONDITIONING:
Understanding the Hot Air
This four-week course
will teach students fundamental
knowledge of automotive HVAC systems. Intended for
automotive technicians who need additional training and
experience working with mobile HVAC systems, this
course will provide educational material for diagnosis and
repair of common failures, proper handling of R134A
refrigerant, EPA Compliant Refrigerant Recovery & Recycling
Certification and preparation for the ASE HVAC test.

AUTOMOTIVE MAINTENANCE:
Having Fun with Fundamentals
This
two-week course will teach students the simple but important
knowledge to maintain their own vehicle. Intended as a
personal interest course, students will learn the importance
of scheduled maintenance, perform a pre-trip safety
inspection, change a tire, and perform simple repairs on a
do-it-yourself level. Additional instructions will include
choosing a repair shop and finding emergency service when
out of town. |
