Basic Office Computer Applications, 600 hours
     • Computer MOS Certification Prep

The Information Technology Job Training program provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain the basic skills necessary for employment in the business environment or to prepare for a career in basic MOS software applications.  

Students will prepare and test for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification exams as part of the successful completion of the program.

The course focuses on the powerful Microsoft Office Suite programs.  During the first part of the class, students will become proficient in document formatting and special applications as they study Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.  Students will progress to Microsoft applications Excel and Outlook.  Office simulations and hands-on training allow opportunity to practice new computer skills.  Students are expected to pass the MS Word and Excel Core Certifications as part of the class.
