Trades Apprenticeship, 72 hours
The Machine Trades
Apprenticeship course is designed to accommodate small
machining operations where in-house apprenticeship training programs are not

feasible or for apprentices who have no access to a structured apprenticeship
program.
The Penta Machine Trades
Apprenticeship program is Board approved. The Machine
Trades Apprenticeship program satisfies the requirements set forth by the US
Dept.
of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship Training.
A total of 576 hours (8
semesters / 4 years) of classroom training is required for
the completion of the apprenticeship program. The Curriculum provides
fundamentals
of mathematics, metallurgy, measurement and machining techniques necessary for
journeyman machinists.
