ATTENTION ANTHONY WAYNE STUDENTS:  It’s this week!  The Anthony Wayne “Spirit of Giving” annual spaghetti dinner is this Friday, February 22 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM.  Tickets are $6.00 and there are take-out dinners available. Please see Mrs. Schultz with any questions.

ATTENTION LAKE STUDENTS:  Lake’s Coming Home Dance will be held this Saturday, February 23 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM in the High School Cafenasium.  The dance is a formal dance and the theme is “Glow.” The cost is $12.00 per ticket and tickets will only be sold at the door.  The price will include glow accessories that students will get at the dance.  Guest forms are available on the red wall in the Student Services Office and are due no later than tomorrow. 

ATTENTION NORTHWOOD STUDENTS: There will be a pep assembly at Northwood High School tomorrow at 2:00 PM.  Since Penta is not in session that day, if you wish to go to the pep assembly just show up at 2:00 PM to participate in the events.

ATTENTION PERRYSBURG SENIORS: You will need to have your picture taken by Prestige Photography by Friday, March 1, 2019. This is the ONLY way to be in the Perrysburg Yearbook.  Call 419-872-7550 to schedule an appointment at the Levis Commons location.  There is no charge if you are just having a yearbook picture taken.

ATTENTION PERRYSBURG SENIORS:  If you have not done so already, please make sure to apply for the Perrysburg Local Scholarship.  The deadline is approaching very soon!  All applications must be in by Friday, February 22 at 3:30 PM.  Completing the application will put you in the running for almost 50 different scholarships that just for Perrysburg High School seniors only!  Please see Mrs. Schultz with any questions.

ATTENTION SWANTON STUDENTS:  The Swanton Winter Formal “Kooky Karnival” will be held on Saturday, February 23 from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM.  Tickets are $15.00 and can be purchased at the door.  Guest forms are on the red wall in the Student Services Office and must be turned in before the day of the dance.

ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS:  The Hirzel Tuition Scholarship and Resource Assistance Award Scholarship are now available in the Student Services Office.  These are two, separate awards given only to Penta seniors and may be used for college or work-related expenses.  Completed applications with all supporting materials are due back in the Student Services Office to Ms. Kronk by Friday, April 12, 2019 at 3:00 PM.  Do not wait!  Please make sure to get your application copy online or in the Student Services Office.

ATTENTION SENIORS: Are you starting to make your search for ways to pay for college? Scholarships can help you pave the way!  Go to www.pentacareercenter.org/scholarships.aspx and check out the online scholarship list.  If you do not have access to a computer, hard copies of scholarships will be kept in a box in the Student Services Office.  See Ms. Kronk for more details and check back frequently for updates!

ATTENTION SENIORS:  Terra State Community College is offering another unique opportunity for 2019 high school graduates!  Students that choose to major in a program with high job demand are now eligible for the Workforce Demand Scholarship.  This scholarship would provide up to an Associates’ Degree TUITION-FREE for 2019 high school graduates majoring in select programs!  Applications are still available at www.terra.edu.  The deadline date is Monday, April 15.  See the scholarship box in the Student Services Office for more details.
