THESE ARE YOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS!
APRIL 23, 2018

ANTHONY WAYNE STUDENTS:  Anthony Wayne’s Prom will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 7:00 to 10:30 PM at Parkway Place in Maumee.  After-Prom will be held from 11:00 PM to 2:00 AM at the University of Toledo Rec Center.  Please note!  There has been a change in the final day of purchasing Prom tickets.   You will have till this Thursday, April 26 at 3:00 PM to purchase your ticket.  Prom tickets cost $55.00 each and After-Prom tickets can also be purchased here at Penta for $15.00 each.  Dance guest permission forms for non-Anthony Wayne students are still available on the red wall in the Student Services Office.   A copy of the Prom information sheet from AW is on the red wall in the Student Services office as well as your bulletin board out in the Commons.   For those who will be attending Prom, the waiver packet for UT is also required and is on the red wall in the Student Services Office.

BOWLING GREEN SENIORS:  Your caps and gowns will be delivered this Thursday, April 26 before school in the Commons.  Please make your final payment online or have the exact amount in cash on delivery day as personal checks ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTED. Also, any school fees must be paid to the main office at Bowling Green High School by tomorrow in order to pick up your cap and gown on delivery day.

LAKE STUDENTS: This year’s Prom will be held on Saturday, May 12, at the St. Michaels’ Centre on Navarre Avenue in Oregon.  Doors will be open at 6:00 PM for appetizers and they will lock at 7:00 PM for dinner.  There will be NO admittance after 7:00 PM.  Prom will end at 11:00 PM.  Tickets are $60.00 each with cash accepted or checks made payable to Lake High School.  Tickets are non-refundable – NO EXCEPTIONS!  Voting for Prom King and Queen will be held online from next Monday, April 30 through next Friday, May 4.  Voting ballots will only be sent via school e-mail to those attending Prom.  After-Prom will be held at Lake High School immediately following Prom and you must be at Lake by 12:00 midnight.  Tickets are $15.00 each and will be sold at Penta this Wednesday, April 25.  Just a reminder: ONLY YOUR PROM DATE CAN BE YOUR AFTER-PROM GUEST.  Please see Mr. Stoots with any questions.

ATTENTION MAUMEE STUDENTS: Prom tickets will be on sale starting today through Wednesday, April 25.  Please see Mrs. Zilba to purchase your ticket.  $60.00 per couple, $30.00 per person.  After-Prom information is as follows: After-Prom will run from 11:30 PM to 3:00 AM in the University of Toledo Student Recreation Center.  The cost for After-Prom is $20.00 per person.  Tickets for After-Prom will ONLY BE SOLD AT MAUMEE HIGH SCHOOL.  They will be sold at the front desk before or after school from today through Friday, April 27.  Students attending After-Prom need to have a completed permission slip.  This can be found on the University of Toledo Student Recreation Center website and was e-mailed to all Maumee High School and Penta/Maumee High School students. Also, you can find a copy of the UT forms on the red wall in the Student Services Office.

MAUMEE STUDENTS:  Are you looking for something to do after school? Join us for the Games Club this Wednesday, April 25 at 2:45 PM in Room 220 at Maumee High School.  Board games, snacks and prizes are just part of the fun.  There will only be 2 more games clubs!  Don’t miss out!

ATTENTION OTSEGO STUDENTS:  Otsego’s Prom will be held on Saturday, May 12, from 6:15 PM to 11:00 PM.  After-Prom will be at Kalahari from 11:30 PM to approximately 6:00 AM.  All details about Prom and After-Prom are included in your invitation, and also are posted on the Otsego bulletin board in the Commons.  Dance guest permission forms for non-Otsego students are available on the red wall in the Student Services Office.  Please note that you may purchase tickets at Otsego High School.  If you want to wait to purchase tickets at Penta, Mrs. Clark will be here ONE DAY ONLY – this Thursday, April 26, over all lunches.

PERRYSBURG STUDENTS:  Perrysburg’s Prom will be held on Saturday, May 12, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM in the Hilton Garden Inn Ballroom.  After-Prom information will be available closer to Prom.  Please note: TICKETS WILL ONLY BE SOLD AT PERRYSBURG HIGH SCHOOL – NO PROM TICKETS WILL BE SOLD AT PENTA.  All of the details about Prom, including the ticket sale information, are included in the invitation, and also posted on the Perrysburg bulletin board in the Commons.  Extra dance guest permission forms for non-Perrysburg students are still available on the red wall in the Student Services Office.

ROSSFORD SENIORS: Please check your Rossford High School e-mail for a Google Form regarding Senior Polls and voting.  The deadline to complete it is this Wednesday, April 25.  Please see Mrs. Zilba for any help.

ATTENTION ROSSFORD SENIORS:  Senior Week at Rossford will be taking place starting the Monday after you are finished at Penta.  Several events have been planned. – Monday – May 14 – PJ Day/Senior Slide Show and Doughnuts donated by Meijer during AI, Tuesday – May 15 – Career Day – Bagels and Cream Cheese during AI provided by Mr. Brashear, Wednesday, May 16 – Beach Day – Smoothies during lunches donated by the After-Prom committee, Thursday, May 17 – Jersey Day – Pizza during A and B lunches, paid for by your Rossford Senior Class and Friday, May 18 – College Day – Ice Cream during AI – paid for by your Rossford Senior Class funds.

ATTENTION SENIORS: If you are interested in the fields of health technologies, nursing, EMT and other health-related fields, there will be an Open House at Mercy College of Ohio this Saturday, April 21 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon at their campus on Madison Avenue in Toledo.   Parking is at 2200 Jefferson Avenue.  Both online and traditional class programs will be available.








ATTENTION SENIORS: Terra State Community College is offering a unique opportunity for 2018 high school graduates!  Students that choose to major in a program with high job demand are still eligible for the new Workforce Demand Scholarship.  This scholarship would provide up to an associate’s degree TUITION-FREE for 2018 high school graduates majoring in select programs!  Applications are available at www.terra.edu.  We are excited to say the deadline has been extended again to Friday, June 15.  Please see Ms. Kronk for a brochure.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS:  The Owens Tech Prep Scholarship is still available in the Student Services Office.  To qualify, students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA by the end of the seventh semester of high school, applied to attend Owens Community College next year in a program related to their Tech Prep program at Penta, and complete the FAFSA form.  An official high school transcript is also required.  The deadline for all documentation is June 29, however, applications should be in to the Student Services Office her at Penta by Friday, May 11 to make sure all documentation is complete.  Please see Ms. Kronk for a copy or locate it on the Penta website.
