Potential Students & Parents Attend Penta's Career Night on Dec. 4th!
      Penta Career Center will host its annual Career Night on Monday, December 4th, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at its campus located at 9301 Buck Road in Perrysburg Township.  The event is designed to introduce high school freshmen, sophomores, and juniors; middle school students; and parents to the variety of career-technical training options available at Penta Career Center.  Read More...

2017 Penta Outstanding Alumni
Congratulations to six former students who will be recognized November 9 with the 2017 Outstanding Alumni Award.  Each year the Penta Career Center Outstanding Alumni Award is bestowed upon individuals who have completed a career-technical training program at Penta and who are currently working in a successful career.  Since the award’s inception in 1993, 145 former high school or adult education students have been honored with the award.  This is Penta’s 25th year of recognizing alumni.  Read More...

"It's VEGAS!" Scholarship Dinner & Silent Auction is Dec. 7th
      The Culinary Arts programs at Penta Career Center are hosting its an annual scholarship dinner and silent auction on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Commons area on the Penta campus, 9301 Buck Road in Perrysburg Township. Theme for the event is “It’s VEGAS!” Proceeds from the dinner and silent auction benefit a general scholarship fund and the Hirzel Scholarship fund at Penta. The scholarships assist students with either post-secondary tuition or tools. The Silent Auction begins at 5:30 p.m. Cost of the dinner is $75 per person or $500.00 for a table of eight. New Formula Student USA Racing Project
     The Automotive Technology programs at Penta Career Center will soon be able to build and race Formula First race vehicles thanks to a generous donation from Mark Schoenlein, current member of the Penta Board of Education, and a matching gift from his employer, O-I and The O-I Charities Foundation. During the June 28 Penta Board of Education meeting, Schoenlein and his wife, Meg, presented a check for $3,000 and O-I matched the Schoenleins’ gift with a $6,000 check.  Read More...

Sutton and Rickard Earn Top Awards at HOSA
Congratulations to Hannah Sutton (Eastwood) and Chevelle Rickard (Elmwood), both students in the Medical Technologies program at Penta, who earned top awards at the 2017 HOSA International Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. Sutton placed third in the nation and received a bronze medal in the Interviewing Skills contest. Rickard was top 10 for the Life Support Skills contest.  Read More...

Congratulations Seniors and Class of 2017 Outstanding Students!
    The 52nd senior class at Penta Career Center was honored May 16-18, 2017 during six separate ceremonies in the Susor Auditorium on the Penta campus. This year, 822 seniors from Penta Career Center’s on campus and satellite programs completed career-technical programs and received Career Passports through Penta. During the ceremonies, the Outstanding Student Award was presented to 50 seniors based on performance and excellence in their individual career-technical program.     The Class of 2017 at Penta Career Center will be honored during special Senior Recognition Ceremonies on Tuesday, May 16; Wednesday, May 17; and Thursday, May 18, 2016. (See below for ceremony details.). The high school seniors, who will be completing career-technical programs at Penta, are from sixteen area school districts (Anthony Wayne, Benton-Carroll-Salem, Bowling Green, Eastwood, Elmwood, Genoa, Lake, Maumee, North Baltimore, Northwood, Otsego, Perrysburg, Rossford, Springfield, Swanton, and Woodmore).
